Adult Relief Services


We provide short-term relief support in a group living situation. This service is available on a planned or emergency basis for individuals 18 years of age or older, who cannot access any other relief services.

Relief services can be used to provide care-givers or families with a well needed break. This can be for a weekend or a holiday stay. In addition emergency relief services can be used to provide individuals with a place to live until an alternate living arrangement can be found.

Program Goals

(primary area of focus): (I.e. General Education, Employment Preparation Etc.)

Providing both clients and the people who support them with a relief services to contribute to a higher quality of life for all.

  • Home cooked meals
  • Meeting new friends
  • Exploring activities of interest to you
  • A friendly ear to listen to you
  • Individualized supports
  • Your own bedroom and personal space
  • Friends/family to come over and visit
  • Lunches packed according to your tastes
  • Assistance in pursing your goals
  • Collaboration with you and your support network as they assist you to obtain a permanent residential placement, if needed.

Location of Services

We have 2 homes available, the Oakfield home located in the southwest (SW) and the Vista home located in the northeast (NE) of Calgary, to assist you with your planned or emergency relief needs.
